What is ARForms?

ARForms is premium wordpress form builder plugin with inbuilt support of multiple Email Marketing Tools integration. It has support of 7 Email Marketing Tools which are Aweber, mailchimp, GetResponse, iContact, Constant Contact, eBizAC, GVO. ARForms is complete bundle and a very user friendly formbuilder to create various forms in just few clicks without any advanced knowledge required. It supports all popular wordpress versions from 3.0 to 4.6.1

Steps For Installation And Activation

You can install plugin either of these two methods.

New install via FTP

1. Download the plugin from CodeCanyon, and extract it. You should find a directory arforms.
2. In your WordPress installation, upload arforms to wp-content/plugins/
3. Activate the ARForms plugin through the Plugins menu from WordPress admin panel.

New install via the WordPress Uploader

1. Download the plugin from CodeCanyon
2. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
3. Go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload
4. Click on choose file and browse the download package from CodeCanyon. When the plugin uploads successfully, click on Activate Plugin.

After activating the plugin, you will be able to see ARForms menu in admin left menu.

After activating the plugin, you need to activate your license for support and enables automatic upgrades. A license key only be used for one installation of WordPress at a time.

Click on General Settings link to activate your license. You will see below section there on that page. To activate your license, you need to enter your Name, Email address and purchase code( Unique code obtained while purchased this product).

Steps for Manual Update

1. Download the plugin from CodeCanyon, and extract it. You should find a directory arforms.
2. In your WordPress installation, replace existing arforms directory with latest downloaded arforms directory to wp-content/plugins/ folder.
3. After replacing folder, Click on ARForms Menu from WordPress admin panel and plugin will be updated with latest changes.

After installing and activating plugin, now its time to configure the plugin, Please click on Global Settings link from ARForms menu.

From here you can set General settings of forms and Email Marketing Tools settings as displayed in below screen shot.

1) General settings

You can set default Error message and Success messages, Form Submission Method, Default Email Settings, Recaptcha Settings etc. from Global Settings.

2) Email Marketing Tools

You can configure various Email Marketing Tools from this area. Here you can manage whether you want to integrate these tools through API or Webform method for all forms.

To configure with API method, you just need to verify your Email Marketer account by entering API key and other required detail. And system will fetch all the list name / campaign name from your account.

To configure with webform method, you just need to enter HTML form generated from Email Marketer account.

   Aweber

API Configuration

Please follow below steps to configure Aweber with API Method

1. Select "Enable using API" method.

2. Please Enter your "Consumer key" and "Consumer Secret" obtained while application was created.
3. Click on Continue button. It will open a dialog box to authenticate your aweber account.
4. Please enter your Aweber username and password and click on "Allow Access" button.
5. That's all!! System will fetch all the list names from your aweber account. Select default List name to add subscribes.

• You can Deactivate your account by clicking the link "Delete Configuration".

WebForm Configuration

Please follow below steps to configure Aweber with WebForm Method

1. Select "Enable using Web-form" method.
2. Please login to your aweber account.
3. Create a HTML form.
4. Paste HTML form to textarea.
5. That's all!! System will add subscriber to your account via this web form.

   MailChimp

API Configuration

Please follow below steps to configure Mailchimp with API Method

1. Select "Enable using API" method.
2. Please Enter your "API Key" obtained from your Mailchimp account.
3. Click on "Verify" link.
4. That's all!! System will verify your account and fetch all list names from your account. Select default List name to add subscribes.

WebForm Configuration

5. That's all!! System will add subscriber to your account via this web form.

   Getresponse

API Configuration

Please follow below steps to configure Getresponse with API Method

1. Select "Enable using API" method.
2. Please Enter your "API Key" obtained from your Getresponse account.
3. Click on "Verify" link.
4. That's all!! System will verify your account and fetch all campaign names from your account. Select default Campaign name to add subscribes.

WebForm Configuration

Please follow below steps to configure Getresponse with WebForm Method

1. Select "Enable using Web-form" method.
2. Please login to your Getresponse account.
3. Create a HTML form.
4. Paste HTML form to textarea.
5. That's all!! System will add subscriber to your account via this web form.

   iContact

API Configuration

Please follow below steps to configure iContact with API Method

1. Select "Enable using API" method.
2. Please Enter your "APP ID" obtained from your Getresponse account,"Username" and "Password" of your iContact account.
3. Click on "Verify" link.
4. That's all!! System will verify your account and fetch all list names from your account. Select default List name to add subscribes.

• You can Deactivate your account by clicking the link "Delete Configuration".

WebForm Configuration

Please follow below steps to configure iContact with WebForm Method

1. Select "Enable using Web-form" method.
2. Please login to your iContact account.
3. Create a HTML form.
4. Paste HTML form to textarea.
5. That's all!! System will add subscriber to your account via this web form.

   Constant Contact

API Configuration

Please follow below steps to configure Constant Contact with API Method

1. Select "Enable using API" method.
2. Please Enter your "API key" and "Access Token" obtained from your Constant Contact account.
3. Click on "Verify" link.
4. That's all!! System will verify your account and fetch all list names from your account. Select default List name to add subscribes.

WebForm Configuration

Please follow below steps to configure Constant Contact with WebForm Method

1. Select "Enable using Web-form" method.
2. Please login to your Constant Contact account.
3. Create a HTML form.
4. Paste form URL to textarea . To get this link of form, click the link icon under Actions.
5. That's all!! System will add subscriber to your account via this web form.

   GVO

WebForm Configuration

Please follow below steps to configure GVO with WebForm Method

1. Select "Enable using Web-form" method.
2. Please login to your GVO account.
3. Create a HTML form.
4. Paste HTML form to textarea.
5. That's all!! System will add subscriber to your account via this web form.

   eBizAC

WebForm Configuration

Please follow below steps to configure eBizAC with WebForm Method

1. Select "Enable using Web-form" method.
2. Please login to your eBizAC account.
3. Create a HTML form.
4. Paste HTML form to textarea.
5. That's all!! System will add subscriber to your account via this web form.

You can always change this value while creating / editing forms in case if you want to use different settings for any particular form later.

Now, after configuring global settings you are almost ready to publish your first form for users.

To add new form please follow below steps:

1) Click on "Add New Form" from admin left menu.

It will open a popup to select your preference to add new form. You can also create new form from ARForms main page, using Add New Form button.

2) Select "Blank Form" to add new form from scratch.

That means you can design the form from the scratch according to your need.

With ARForms, you can build any type of form according to your need. For Example, You can create Contact Us Form, Registration Form, Feedback Form. You can build multi-column form also. You can set Two column or Three Column layout with ARForms. Morover, you can also build multi Steps Form like Survey style and Wizard style forms. You can show / hide form fields based on conditional logic also.

3) Select other ready templates to add new form using ready template.

All standard basic form are ready available with ARForms. You will get 7 ready templates which you can use to build your form.

1. Contact Us Form
2. Feedback Form
3. Registration Form
4. RSVP Form
5. Subscription Form
6. Survey Form
7. Job Application Form

4) To add new fields on form, you can drag and drop fields from right panel.

You will see there are form basic elements and advanced elements available to create any level of complex form. With these elements, you can create any type of form according to your need. You can add new fields by just clicking on field element also.

5) After adding the field, change field options according to your need.

You will able to see icon for Field Options by hover on field.

1. Settings – You will get all field options by clicking on this button. You can set all settings related to that field from that popup.
2. Duplicate – You can create clone of a field by clicking on this button
3. Move – You can change order of fields by clicking on this button
4. Delete – You can delete field by clicking on this button

After creating the form, You may want to design the form according to your need.

You can fully customize your form from this area. You will get mainly 5 different tabs to change form styling:

Form settings

Here you have all main options related to form styling such as Form width, Form alignment, padding, form border options and form background options. You have choice Whether form title and description display or not. You can also change settings related to multi step form and modal form.

Label settings

Here you have all label related options to manage styling of label of field such as label position, alignment, width, text color, font options. Even you have option to hide label if you want not to display labels.

Input field settings

Here you have all input related options to manage styling of all the input fields like textbox, textarea, radio buttons, checkboxes etc. You can set field width, border and text color of normal state, active state and error state. You can set field border color, border size and its radius and style also. You can also set spacing between two fields.

You also have other options such as text direction, font options, Field Transparency, Calendar styling option for datetime picker controls, checkbox and radio style option, prefix and suffix icons colors option.

Submit button settings

Here you have all button related options to manage styling of submit button. You can set submit button alignment, button text, button background, button width and height, margin, button text color, button border settings, font settings etc.

Validation Style settings

Here you have all validation related options to manage styling of Error and success message display while form submit. Here you can choose error style like normal / advanced. In advanced setting, error message will display with animation and in modern style. normal error message will display error message under field element.

You also have other options like font settings, error message position, color options.

Conditional Logic is a way to show, hide, enable, disable form fields by applying rules on it which depends on the user's input. If you want to show or hide any particular field (or group of fields (sections) ) based on the rule you have applied, then conditional logic is used to achieve this functionality. You can set conditional logic on any fields except Hidden field, Captcha and Image.

To add conditional logic on any field, click on Field Options icon which you will get by hover on any field. By clicking on Field Options icon, you will be able to see 3 tabs which are: 'Basic Options, 'CSS Property' and 'Conditional Law'. Click on 'Conditional Law' tab, and you can set rules for that field from there.

For Example, You have created contact form. And you want to show "Email" field only if user's preferred contact method is Email. To achieve this, Click on Field Options icon of Email Field, and add rule as displayed in below image.

Show/Hide ( Action )

There is dropdown for actions to be applied on field, select one of them as per your requirement.

• Show - By selecting this option, target field will be displayed only if specific condition is fulfilled.
• Hide - By selecting this option, target field will be hidden only if specified condition is fulfilled.

All / Any: ( Condition)

The condition is part of the overall conditional logic, in addition to the actual rules, that determine what action to take.

• All - When you have applied more than one condition on target field. And you want that each condition should be fulfilled, at that time this option is used.
• Any - When you have applied more than one condition on target field. And you want that any of them condition should be fulfilled, at that time this option is used.

Rules:

• Field -Here you have provided list of fields that you have taken in your form. Some fields will not included like HTML, Page break, Captcha, Range Slider.
• Operator -This is the operation which determines whether a value is evaluated towards your condition. Options available are: "equals", "not equals", "greater than", "less than", "contains", "not contains"
• Value -This is an Option from the selected Field Name which the user must select or not select, based on the Operator.

ARForms provides facility of Math Logic / Running Total that will perform run time calculation based on user's input.

To add math logic, you just need to add HTML control to editor. You can add formula for calculation by clicking on checkbox Enable Running Total.

Enable Running Total:

When you want to add formulas for math logic, you have to check Enable Running Total checkbox. When you check this checkbox, it will automatically add a pair of <arftotal></arftotal> tag. ( Opening and closing tag. ) where your cursor is pointing.

After checked the Enable Running Total, Please confirm that your cursor is pointing between the <arftotal> tag. You need to add formula between opening and closing tag.

After enabling the running total, you will be able to see a sample formula as displayed in below picture: Also, you will get Form fields to add in formula along with math operators for calculation.

Add Field:

This is the list of all fields which you have already added in editor for your form. Select any field which you want to use for calculation. By selecting field, it will be added to your formula which you can see in HTML content area. Here some inputs will not included such as Range slider, Page Break, Captcha.

Math Operators:

It will perform addition operation between fields(operands). Just simply click on button and it will be added to your formula where your cursor is pointing.

It will perform subtraction operation between fields(operands). Just simply click on button and it will be added to your formula where your cursor is pointing.

It will perform multiplication operation between fields(operands). Just simply click on button and it will be added to your formula where your cursor is pointing.

It will perform division operation between fields(operands). Just simply click on button and it will be added to your formula where your cursor is pointing.

Starting and closing bracket used to differentiates and give high priority to particular operation between formulas.

([Product:123]*[Qty:125]) + 5

Validate Formula:

After adding the required fields and operators to the formula, you may want to check that this formula is valid or not. So, this button will check whether your formula is valid or not. If your formula contains any incorrect expression, then it will show you error message.

From Now, its too easy to create beautiful forms with meaningful icons at your fields with ARForms.

ARForms allows to add prefix and suffix icon(s) on fields like Single Line Text, Email Address, Password, Number, Phone Number, Website/URL,Date and many more.

If you want to add Prefix/ Suffix icon to field, Drag field in form editor, click on field option icon and you can add icons as per your requirement. and thats it!! You can view selected icons in form editor also.

Now, If you want to change icon's color or it's Background color, than go to styling tab and click on "INPUT FIELD SETTINGS" tab. Here you will get "Prefix & Suffix Style" with two options:

1. Background Color
2. Icon Color

Change color as your form suits.

If you want to apply custom css on prefix/suffix icon for specific field, Click on "Field Options" icon by hover on field in editor, and you will get "CSS Property" tab. Now, click on "Icon" cloud and add your custom properties there.

Apply properties directly. Do not define class here.

You can manage all form related settings from this area. You can manage actions on submit form from this page. You can also manage email settings. Morover, You can manage Email Marketers settings and custom css related to form, form fields, labels, submit button from this page.

1) On Submit :

You can manage what action should be performed after form submission. You will get mainly 3 options for submission method.

Display Message

You can display a message on page itself after form submission. That means, A message will be displayed on same page after submitting the form. This method will not redirect to any page.

Here you also have facility to set message at confirmation message option.

Here other facility is provided that is Hide form after form submit.

Redirect to URL

Page will be redirected to a entered URL after form submission. That means, External page will be displayed after form submission.

Here other unique feature is provided that is Conditional Redirect:

Here you are able to set multiple conditions as well as different urls for each conditions to redirect page on fulfilled condition.

If you have used facility of sending your form data to custom url then here other facility is provided that is Show post value using shortcode given there.

Display content from another page

Existing page content from your site will be displayed after form submission. That means, After submitting the form, If you want to just display thank you message from your existing page, you can use this option.

2) Auto Response Email :

You can manage user email content and subject line and other settings from this area which will be sent after form is submitted from front end. You can set Admin Email address from here where admin will be notified after form submission. You can also set From/ Replyto name and From/ Replyto Email Address to set email headers.

3) Email Marketers :

You can map Email Marketer(s) like Aweber, MailChimp, GetResponse, iContact, Constant Contact, GVO, EbizAC with the form from this area.

Also, you can set different settings than global setting for that particular form only. While creating new form, settings will be copied from Global Settings and than you can change settings according to your requirement for that particular form.

In API method, you can change your list name if you want to add subscriber into another list than global setting.

In Webform method, you can add different form value than global setting.

From this area, you can map form's field to Email Marketers. Map Email Marketers' first name, last name and email field with form fields.

4) Custom CSS:

From this area, you can give custom styling to form according to your need. You can add your own styling properties to form entities.

Note : Apply properties directly. Do not define class here.

Forms you have created can be published by following ways.

1) Insert Form into Page / Post

ARForms allows

1. go to "Add New" from "Pages" menu. Or "Add New" from "Posts" menu.
2. Add page / post title
3. You can see the A icon near "Add media" button above the editor. By clicking on that icon you will able to see a popup.

   

4. From that popup you can select the form from dropdown which you wish to add into that page. Also, you can select how you want to add this form into page. That means whether you want to add form in page itself (Normal Form) or want to open in a popup window.

* Select "Internal" option to add form into website page.

By selecting "Internal", Form will be displayed in your website page content area as below image.

* Select "External Popup Window" option to add form in modal window.

Here You will have more options of Link type and according to Link type other styling options are available, which can be seen at below picture.

Link

This type will add a link in your website page. Default link text will be "Click here to open Form". You can change link text at Caption option.

Other options are also available to style your modal form window such as Background color as well as its opacity, Height and Width of form.

Here you have choice whether you want to Show Close Button or not.

Note : Here if you select "NO" for this option then your form will not close even click on outside of form.

Button

This type will add a Button in your website page. Default Button text will be "Click here to open Form". You can change button text at Caption option.

Same options are available here also and other Color options are also available for button background and text.

So, in this case form will be open in a nice modal window by clicking on Link/ Button as below picture:

* Select "Fly" option to add form in popup with animation.

This type will add a Fly Button in your website page. On selecting this type you will have more options to style your Fly Button as well as modal form window.

You will have options to change Caption on button, Background color and text color of button, Height and width of form, Link Position and Button angle.

Link Position - Here you are able to set position of Fly Button either left or right according to your need.

Button Angle - Here you are able to rotate your Fly button, for that you will have three options 0, 90, and -90.

* Select "Sticky" option to add form in popup with animation.

This type will add a Sticky Button in your website page. You will get more options on select Sticky that will help you to change Caption on Sticky button, Backgrounnd color and text Color of Sticky Button as well as Height and Width of form.

Link Position - Here you can set your Sticky Button at Top, Bottom, Left or Right.

* Select "On Page Load" option to display form in popup while loading of your website page.

This type will load a Form in your website page. That means user do not need to click on any link, button or anywhere on website page. You can set modal height and width as displayed in below image.

Here also you can set Background color and opacity for modal form and set whether you want to show close button or not.

Note : Here if you select "NO" for this option then your form will not close even click on outside of form.

Open popup after page load - For this type you will have another option to open popup after your selected delay time on page load, delay time will be considered in seconds.

* Select "When user scroll page" option to display form in popup while scroll your website page.

This type will load your form when your webpage is scrolled. Same styling options such as background color and opacity, Height, Width, Show close button are available here also .

Open popup when user scroll % of page after page load - One more option is provided here where you can set value in percentage to scroll page and then load your form.

ARForms is very flexible which supports Visual Composer to add your forms to Page / Post.

If you have Visual Composer installed on your website, you can easily add form by just clicking on "ARForms" module. Here is an example for you.

2) Insert Form into Widget

With ARForms, you can display your form not only from page or post, but also in sidebar of your website pages. ARForms has ready widget which you need to just drag into sidebar and you are ready to publish your form !!

1. go to "Appearance" => "widgets" from admin panel.
2. You will find "ARForms Form" widget in widget list.
3. Drag that widget into any sidebar.
4. Give title of widget, select the form you wish to display and its relevant options in sidebar and click on "Save" button.

3) Insert Form into Theme

You can insert a form into page from your current theme / template file by calling the function. You will get all functions listed at ADD To Site tab at form editor.
